Handling the flood of fake crowns. Invasions of fear.

We often hurt ourselves, and others, cause so much damage as a whole. We argue our point, follow selfish ambition and have temper tantrums when things go wrong. We try to bend and manipulate to suit our own needs without considering the greater outcome. We lie and we cheat, pretend to be in control when grappling to hold on to the fraying strands of the things we thought would keep.

Things we have built our lives on, things like the pursuit of wealth, success in business or sport, education, recreation, entertainment or health; they have all crumbled and proven fake, although valuable attributes to life; not worthy of being held as highly as some like.

A world wide impact like an invasion of fear pulling us down. Leading an army, was a mock crown. A demonic invasion, strategically planned to subdue the nations, to surrender the land. Grinding them down to mind the pretensions of some few demonically lead public relations. Waves of fear hitting the shore, cutting through once solid reservations, now left unsure.

It may have lead the way. Leaving a shaddow of fear in its wake, the majesty it represents is fake. Some refuse to call it a ‘crown’. In time the truth will be revealed. The people will no longer be fooled. After waves of onslaught out on the field, still we stand in our faith, for we have been sealed. Throughout it all we are able to sing, to remind ourselves that their pursuit of power and wealth is a shallow thing. We remain steadfast in knowing that Jesus Christ is King!

We came to realize, while education, sport, entertainment, success and wealth are needed in some ways, they are neither the source nor the sustaining force. None of those things can bring life into existence, none of them can heal you from disease or calm your afflictions. There is only one person who can do that and at our core we all know it’s the case. At the end of the day, when all else fails we fall to our knees and plead with him for mercy and grace.

Since he is loving, kind and gracious, he hears us when we honestly start to seek him and stop being pretentious. Even if you stubbornly refuse to acknowledge his existence, he loves you and hopes that you will turn around to find your deliverance. Some are afraid, warped in their judgement, despite longing for acceptance. Scared of him pointing the finger and bringing to light, all the dark things so desperately hidden when in actual fact this is what leads to repentance.

Owning up to these things we can ask for forgiveness. As we look to him new strength will flow through us. Rendering the hurt, the fear and the shame powerless, to continue to torment, forced to leave us in the name of Christ Jesus.

Any sin you refuse to deal with or selfish, prideful, self pitying behavior, causes you to heap even more guilt and shame on top of your already wounded soul. Still the truth remains the same. You are given a choice to accept what he has done, or continue to wallow in self-pity and shame, held captive in the mire of your dungeon.

Watch your own reaction, when someone has hurt you. The evil you think about that person, how you evade pulling through with grace. Much of the fear isn’t true but rather is built up within you, worry of what else might happen as you try to stay clear, of being hurt again and evade even thinking of how you might survive. When that fear acts as a warden, hindering you from moving forward, too focused on self protection.

It won’t go away, if you press it down, try to smother it with stuff, all the distractions we come up with just to evade dealing with the fact that we are broken, so damaged and in dire need of healing. We know it and search for peace in all the places promising to smother the pain but only for a moment do we find some release. Sport won’t change a thing, neither will hard work, helping others or giving to charity, being a ‘good’ person won’t set you free.

Neither will any of those things that tap into darker spiritual happenings, like hypnosis, yoga, numerology, astrology, witchcraft and new age flings. They all promise to get you to where you want to be and bend, manipulate things into something that was not meant. Causing more damage than good in the end.

Some try to smother the pain and the shame with alcohol, drugs, pornography, addictive things that result in heaping up even more burden on their souls. Until some get to the point where their conscience is seared and they actually believe that their behavior is preferred because it aligns with the current affairs, the flow of the times, the fake and shallow lies that each doing as they wilt is the way up the stairs.

It is fake, none of it prevails, the stairs turn to slippery ramp, a slide to destruction because we were not meant as a solitary construction. We reap what we sow and at some point are tortured by self condemnation. Sin manifests itself in inner torment, illness and oozes from us in anger, self pity and arrogance. A never ending cycle of torment.

Knowing the truth will set us free. God is good and righteous, kind, generous, full of mercy and grace. When we suffer he suffers with us but he is long suffering because he doesn’t want anyone to perish. We want those who hurt us to pay. At the same time we want him to be gracious concerning the things we have done and turn a blind eye. He can’t do that because he is fair and everyone will be judged according to our own conduct.

He created us to be in relationship. Love covers a multitude of sins, he sent his son to be born and take the burden of our sin so that we who believe in him, cand find rest for our souls and have sonship. So that we can be in relationship with Him

Jesus (Yeshua) was without sin. That is why he was able to take all of our our shame, all the resulting illness and every generational curse upon himself. He was captured, beaten, put on trial and no guilt was found in him. Still those whom he had come to save, accused him. Brought before the roman Pontius Pilate who could find no fault in him, the Jewish leaders and academics demanded Jesus be crucified. He died for our sin.

Only days before, crowds followed him, brought him their sick and demon possessed. He healed them all, he taught them about the kingdom of God and gave them rest. When he rode into the city of Jerusalem they cried ‘Hosanna’ which means ‘save us’; there they acknowledged him as king. Then they all deserted him.

They were disappointed because they had a limited perception of what it meant to be saved. It was the only way for God to save us from our sin: TO TAKE THE PUNISHMENT UPON HIMSELF. Jesus bore it on the cross. To set us free and with that to beat the illness and death that results from sin. This way he leads us into victory.

Because he is sinless, death couldn’t hold him and on the third day, he rose again. With him we rise, all of us who believe, our sin is dead and buried, we have been redeemed. We have been born again in Christ Jesus who is the real King.
