Getting set free

Freedom is found where you are totally surrendered to Him and live by the Spirit, connected to and guided by the Holy Spirit. It is where you are aligned with yourself in all your parts as spirit, soul and body. As long as your soulful needs guide you, you will not be free to live, love and be at peace as God intends you to be. This does not diminish the value of your soul, on the contrary, your soul is precious and worth saving in the eyes of God. Jesus came to bind the broken hearted and set the captives free.

Every hurt, every shameful memory, unforgiven scar or traumatic experience causes a deep wound, sometimes to the point of causing fragmentations of the soul. While you might function when you have to, you can be catapulted into an emotional whirlwind in the next moment.

Most of us have broken, hidden away parts, some are childlike, some are imprisoned or afraid. Some of these parts of our souls do not know God personally, even if our functional self, our understanding or any other part does know Him.

It is important to bring all the fragments of your soul back into unity and wholeness with yourself and with Jesus who paid the price so that we can be made whole.

Andrew Miller teaches this process of healing as Heart Sync. In his work with severely traumatized individuals, especially those with a background of ritual abuse, the Lord revealed a way of healing that is gentle, kind and very effective.

Pieter Kirstein describes this very beautifully and from personal experience in the following fb post Understanding the fragmentations of the human soul

Arthur Burke teaches about ministering directly to the human spirit. This is especially effective when dealing with severely fragmented souls that would take years to heal in conventional ways, if at all, and also according to a heart sync type of counseling it would take a long time to deal with each fragment of the soul, to bring it into healing. Ministering directly to the human spirit can reveal the truth to a person very quickly.

It is the truth that sets us free.

The truth concerning difficulties is that we all go through them. God wants us healed. Sometimes he is able to heal us instantly. Sometimes we need some deeper work done in us so that we can take hold of our healing and begin to live in it. There is also a lot of training involved when we are children of the Most High God. He does not take our upbringing lightly and giving us everything we desire would probably not have the right effect on who we will become in the end. He teaches us endurance, patience and how to grow in the fruit of His Holy Spirit by giving us the opportunities to do so. When you have gone through the fire, been purified, taught endurance, long-suffering and the fruits of the spirit have matured in you, then you will also find wholeness in the process of becoming a reflection of Jesus Christ, made in His likeness.

Then you will find freedom.

Sometimes this involves a deep process of healing and deliverance.

Much of the church is unaware of, and afraid of, the witchcraft and manipulation that works against the church from outside, but also from within and through generational bloodlines. While saved and on fire for Jesus is a protection, the enemy only needs one foothold of fleshly desire or alignment with the kingdom of darkness – which is to be in agreement with fear, envy, bitterness, self-pity, illness, deception, self-exaltation, whatever it is – or sin (the intent of the heart (selfish intentions) concerning our actions, conduct, thoughts etc) to get in and try to steal kill and destroy (our faith, hope, joy, love). We can choose to be in agreement with God, by revelation of the Holy Spirit and align with his perspective on any situation. The enemy have their plans, structures and dealings but the HOLY SPIRIT has his own plans and His plans for you are for good, not to harm you. They are plans to give you a hope and a future. God promised this through Jeremiah (29:11) to those living in captivity. His promise is to set us free from captivity. To guide us into healing, into freedom and wholeness, into being aligned with Him. Amen.
